Carrie Ryan was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. After attending a Girl Scouts riding camp as a girl, she knew horses would always be a part of her life. In high school she started competing in eventing. She showed to numerous top ten finishes in Kentucky and Ohio eventing competition. A graduate of The Ohio State University, she holds a BS in Food Ag and Enviornmental Sciences with a minor in Agriculture Business. While attending OSU Carrie chose her classes with an eye toward attending vet school at OSU. Upon graduation, NAGEC was already built and she decided to focus her attention here. Carrie has also held agents licenses in Commercial Real Estate and as a Loan Officer.
Besides being a part owner / operator of NAGEC, she also has a small online tack business. In her spare time she enjoys competing with her mini aussies in herding.
Dan Schwarz was born and raised in Johnstown, Ohio. Dan is a 3rd generation equine professional. Growing up in the horse industry he started riding and showing early in 4H and AQHA. Some of his early accomplishments include multiple year end awards, qualifying for AQHA Congress Youth teams. He aquired is Pro card in 1997 when he went to work for AQHA and NRHA Champion Rusty Dare for 2 1/2 years.

Besides being a part owner / operator of NAGEC, Dan also enjoys doing work to rehab local homes.
